Signal for Getting Your Attention

When working in groups and I need to get the student's attention, I will use an overhead. The top portion reads "OK Get Ready."

When students see that part of the overhead they need to stop what they are working on and notify their group of the "Get Ready" signal and to quiet down.

The bottom portion reads, "Stop." It is at this time that all stopping should have already ceased and attention should be up front for new instructions or for a change in activity.

The "Stop" portion will be displayed within one minute of the "OK Get Ready" portion.
