GOAL: Reinforce computer and language arts skills

SUBJECT AREA: Computer and language arts skills

OBJECTIVE:

• Identify and correct punctuation, capitalization
• Show correct paragraph form
• Use spelling check for corrections

DURATION: Two thirty minute sessions (30/class and 30/computer)

INSTRUCTIONAL PREPARATION:

• Class assists teacher in writing a rough summary of literature story
• Stress opening, body, and closing with sequencing
• Review computer editing skills

MATERIALS: Teacher enters unedited story in computer using Microsoft Word program

ACTIVITIES: Students will retrieve story and edit

ASSESSMENT: Students printed work
